ADMISSION (WRITTEN TEST - NEET PG FOLLOWED BY COUNSELLING CARRIED OUT BY THE OFFICE OF DIRECTOR GENERAL ARMED FORCES MEDICAL ERVICES(DGAFMS), NEW DELHI)

  • Priority-I : Serving Indian Armed Forces Medical Services Officers
  • Priority-II : Medical Officers of Friendly Foreign Countries sponsored by the Govt of India
  • Priority-III : Medical Officers from other Central Govtorganizations (CAPF, Ordnance, Indian Railways, ESIC, etc) sponsored by their respective Head Offices
  • Priority-IV : Ex Short Service Commission Medical Officers of Indian Armed Forces Medical Services
  • Priority-V : Civiliandoctors,domiciled in Karnataka

Intake capacity

(a)       At present Command Hospital Air Force is conducting 10 MD/MS courses in various disciplines. The seats were enhanced by MCI in 2011 and the present intake based on admissions made by the office of DGAFMS is as under:-

(b)       Stipend is being paid to37 students of 2014, 2015 and 2016batchmonthly from Public funds @ Rs.30, 000/- for 1st year, Rs. 35,000/- for 2nd year and Rs 40,000/- for 3rd year batch.The other students are either Armed Forces Medical Officers or medical officers from other central Govt agencies, drawing salaries from their respective organizations.
